Yom Kippur Memo of New Hope

Shalom Beloved Women of God!

This week, the Lord impressed upon my heart to send an urgent message of new hope to you.

In the past two months, God’s Love at Work has received many desperate prayer requests concerning everything from incurable diseases to financial disasters.  Indeed, our team is praying concerning all of them.  And I believe the Lord’s word today is in response to your needs and the prayers of many.

My belief is that the Lord’s healing and restoration was finished at the cross, that God allows us to go through periods of trial to fire us for purity of heart and character development, that the wages of sin is death (which includes destruction) and that we receive His healing and restoration by positioning ourselves according to HIS ways and appointed times.

Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, begins this Friday at sundown and lasts through Saturday Sept. 22.  According to the Bible, THIS IS GOD’S MOST HOLY DAY, and it’s not just for Jews but for gentiles as well.

God's Day of Atonement is a day of repentance, reconciliation and NEW BEGINNINGS.  IT IS AN APPOINTED DAY IN WHICH GOD APPORTIONS HIS BLESSINGS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONDITION OF OUR HEARTS.  For those who need more of His blessing, I invite you to participate with me.

Let us ask ourselves: Are we right with God?  Have we repented of ALL sin?  Have we laid down ALL that is in our heart that is not pleasing to God?  Have we reconciled with our sisters and brothers?  Our neighbors?  Our spouses?  Our bosses?  Our children?

The Lord’s greatest commandment is to love God with ALL of our heart and to love our neighbor as ourselves (I Jn. 4:21.)

Joel 2:12 says, “’Even now,’” declares the Lord, return to Me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.” (Repent)

Romans 13:8 says, “Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law.”  (In Hebrew, “law” means “pathway.”)  (Forgive, reconcile and love)

John 14:21 says, “He who loves me will be loved.”

Remember, God’s New Covenant fulfills His Old Covenant.  I believe the Lord desires to heal and restore those who are positioned to receive during this Holy season.  I believe He desires to pour out His double-portion abundance, miracles, financial provision, deliverance, family blessings, divine presence and restoration to meet your needs.  The question is, ARE YOU IN POSITION TO RECEIVE ALL OF HIS FINEST BLESSINGS FOR 2008?  The Bible says that GOD WILL POUR THEM OUT ACCORDING TO THE CONDITION OF OUR HEARTS.

If you would like to participate in this mighty move of God for 2008, ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart; thank Him and repent of all sin (laying down all grudges, hardness of heart, unforgiveness toward others and self); fast food and drink according to the Holy Spirit’s leading beginning at sundown this Friday until sundown Saturday the 22nd; abstain from ALL work, and worship Him during this time; make a sacrificial offering, asking the Holy Spirit to lead you in the amount and where to give.  If you are not currently in a local church, ask Him to lead you to one and commit to go.  We also take donations here at:

Then watch the Lord pour out blessings that you cannot contain for this entire new year, which began last Thursday Sept. 13, according to the Jewish calendar.  May this “New Hope” message inspire and invite you to receive your blessings for 2008.  I await your testimonies!

In His Mighty Love,

Margaret D. Mitchell
