Dear Beloved Working Women,
Greetings in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ!
Honoring Our Veterans
A special welcome and thank you to our military women and veterans! Indeed, we appreciate you!
Both my father and brother served in the U.S. Navy as did many extended family members. And although I never entered the military myself, I grew up amid a strong military influence. I was born in Annapolis, Maryland, home of the U.S. Naval Academy. And, of course, Washington D.C.—replete with military and government agencies—was close by.
Everyone in my neighborhood knew someone who was either in the military and worked at Fort Meade, the National Security Agency, the Pentagon or another government institution. I am grateful that God established a deep respect for the military in me from an early age.
Blessings to all of you! And if you would like to reach out to military personnel during this Veteran’s Day and beyond, please check out the links at the bottom of this page.
Prayer WarriorsPrayer changes things! Ephesians 6 advises us to pray at all times, saying that our battles are not with flesh and blood but against the “spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
For all you intercessors (prayer warriors) out there, you may be interested in the Women on the Frontline Conference, which will air on GOD TV this week and next (11/12 – 10:30 p.m., 11/13 – 11:30 p.m., 11/14 – 10 p.m., 11/15 & 19 – 10:30 p.m., 11/20 – 11:30 p.m., 11/21 – 10 p.m., 11/22 – 10:30 p.m.).

For anyone who is interested in signing up for DirecTV, if you tell them that my husband and I (Glynn & Margaret Mitchell) referred you, both you and we will receive $50. And we will donate our $50 portion to the God’s Love at Work Foundation.
Can you believe it has arrived already?!
Thanks to all of you who have given to this ministry with your donations to the God’s Love at Work Foundation and by purchasing products from the God’s Love at Work website. You are greatly appreciated! And it has been my joy to serve all of you.

How has God blessed you this year? I invite you to submit your testimonies about whatever you’re thankful for this year. Perhaps you got a raise or a promotion, had a baby, started a new business, overcame a health issue, got married. Whatever joyous new journey or blessing God has bestowed upon you, please e-mail your praise reports along with your first name, city, state/country to me at email@example.com. And I will post them on a special page on the God’s Love at Work website during this holiday season. Let’s show the world just how wonderful our God is!
A special God bless you to the people who will be working this Thanksgiving! As a former flight attendant, I worked many holidays over the years. Sometimes, I was able to get wonderful layovers at hotels that offered delicious Thanksgiving buffets. But more often, I was lonely, without family, and I found myself eating pre-made turkey sandwiches from in a budget hotel kitchen. Please remember those in prayer who work and volunteer during Thanksgiving so that others can celebrate with loved ones.

I’ll leave you with an excerpt from Marcia Malzahn’s NEW 366-page daily devotional for working women . . .
Daily Devotional for Working Women
Devotional # 37 – “Do A Good Job While You Are Here”Ecclesiastes 9:10 (NLT)
“Whatever you do, do well. For when you go to the grave, there will be no work or planning or knowledge or wisdom.”
“God has blessed each one of us with different and unique gifts and talents. It is our responsibility to develop and use those gifts and talents to the best of our ability. Therefore, we must educate ourselves, expand our knowledge, and improve those gifts to become skilled individuals.”
“Whatever you do, do it with excellence and from your heart. Become a diligent, honest, hard working woman, and you will be successful. Remember, your time on earth is short and is preparation for your eternal calling. Therefore, do a good job while you’re here. When you do your part and trust God with your life, He will do the rest and bless you by using you for His purposes.”
