Hi Ladies,
After having stayed in almost every hotel chain known to (wo)man as a flight attendant, I felt led to do a site visit. I was delighted to find this hotel staff wonderfully efficient and the lobby and rooms completely rennovated within the past year.
The rooms have new microwave ovens, new mini-refrigerators, new pillowtop mattresses, new carpet and furniture, and the bathrooms have new granite vanity tops and new floor tile. Of course, each room also has a hair dryer, coffee maker and full-size ironing board with iron.
Remember to bring your swimsuit! There's a glass-incased indoor hot tub near the lobby. And a hot breakfast bar and newspaper are included in your price. There is also a small workout room with new equipment and a business center in the lobby with a copier, one PC and a printer.
You may also like to invite a girlfriend, and get some holiday shopping in! Down the hill and across the street 2 blocks east from the hotel is Town Center Mall, which is anchored by Macy's and Belk's. Click here for a list of mall stores. The Wingate hotel is located right off the Barrett Parkway exit of I-75 (up the hill behind Costco and USPlay), about 10-15 minutes from the host church.

- Turn RIGHT onto Barrett Pkwy.
- Turn RIGHT at light onto I-75 SOUTH
- Go 2.1 miles
- Take EXIT # 267A – Canton Rd. North (Rt. 5)
(MAKE SURE YOU TAKE 267A, NOT 267B – THE B EXIT IS BEFORE THE A EXIT)
- Bear RIGHT onto ramp & merge onto Canton Rd.
- Go about 1.8 miles
- Turn RIGHT onto Sandy Springs Rd. NE
- Go 1.3 miles
- Turn RIGHT at light – Scufflegrit Rd.
- Go .9 miles
- Turn LEFT at light – Allgood Rd.
- Go .6 miles
- Look for white marquis on right, just over hill (church sets back off road, behind trees)
- Once in parking lot, follow signs for Gym parking, which is LEFT of main church building.

- Stay on I-75 NORTH, bearing LEFT (DO NOT GET ONTO I-575)
- Go 2 miles
- Take EXIT #269 – Barrett Pkwy (Rt. 41) Kennesaw
- Turn LEFT at light – end of ramp onto Barrett Pkwy
- Go under I-75 bridge.
- Turn LEFT at light onto Cobb Place Blvd. (by South of the Border restaurant)
- Go up hill – Wingate is on RIGHT behind US Play

- Follow signs to I-85 South
- Bear LEFT at split onto I-85 South (Montgomery)
- Go about 1 ½ miles
- Take Exit # 70: I-285 (Birmingham)
- Bear RIGHT (I-285 North)
- Then bear LEFT (I-285 North)
- Sign changes to I-285 West
- Sign then changes back to I-285 North (Birmingham)
- Go about 20 miles
- Take Exit # 20: I-75 North (Atlanta/Chattanooga)

- Go about 10 miles
- Take Exit # 269: Barrett Parkway
- Turn LEFT at end-of-ramp light: Barrett Parkway
- Go under I-75 bridge
