Special Guest: Angie Hillman
Angie Hillman is the Co-Founder of Marketplace Leaders Ministries, which began in 1998 and whose mission is to help women and men fulfill God’s call on their lives by understanding the role faith plays in their workplace calling.
Angie has had a career in marketing, advertising and public relations, in both the corporate and nonprofit arenas, for the last 20 years. Career highlights include working as Director of Public Relations for Georgia Family Council, a nonprofit organization devoted to promoting family values through media relations and public policy initiatives in the state of Georgia. She also served as Creative Director for MAP International, a nonprofit organization that provides health and hope to the world’s poor. Angie co-directed the 1996 Atlanta Host program that involved over 400 churches providing host homes for 2,200 Olympic athletes’ family members from around the world. It was the first complimentary hosting program in Olympic history.
Angie’s spiritual journey began in her late 20’s, and she became a Christian in the workplace at the age of 29. Her “road to Damascus” experience resulted in a deep love for the Lord and in an incredible testimony of His faithfulness as she learned to trust Him completely with all aspects of her life. Her most profound experience to date is her testimony of how Jesus taught her how to fall in love with Him. As a result, she did not date for seven years until she met her husband Os Hillman. Angie and Os, together and individually, train and mentor Christians around the world to understand and live out their calling. www.marketplaceleaders.org
