Margaret’s 16-year journey as a Flight Attendant established a sisterly and servant-like heart in her for women in need. She understands firsthand the longing women have for marketplace support and outreach.
Margaret dedicated her life to Jesus when she was a teen. Over the years, she has experienced a broad spectrum of church exposure, and she has traveled to destinations worldwide. Her perspective of church and world cultures has fortified Margaret with a deep love, respect and compassion for all people, including the lost, from a Christian perspective.
Margaret’s former flight schedule took her out of town on weekends for years, and she found herself reaching to God more than ever to help her navigate through a worldly work environment. With no church, family, friends or other support systems at 35,000 feet, Margaret saw God meet her heart’s cry in profound ways. “When God is all you have in those moments,” she says, “you realize, He’s all you need.”
Airplanes and airports soon became her mission field, where she prayerfully reached out to share God’s love and meet the needs of countless passengers and crew members all across the U.S. and beyond.
In October 2005, Margaret departed the airline industry and began the God’s Love at Work Foundation. In 2006, she published her workplace testimony in a book entitled, 100 Passengers. In March 2007, she began the God’s Love at Work For Women web outreach. And in 2008, she expanded the ministry to include the Women’s Conference & Expo and The Orphan Project initiative.
Margaret’s background in marketing and journalism has positioned her well with both secular and Christian media. She has appeared on FOX News with Neil Cavuto, Janet Parshall’s America, American Family Radio and scores of other television and radio shows. Her writings have appeared in U.S. News & World Report and National Geographic publications as well as on several Christian web sites, including CBN.com. Margaret is a Contributing Writer for Salem Communications' Career Channel, and she has also contributed to a number of Christian anthologies. She is the author of 100 Passengers, a testimony of her journey out of fear into expressing the love of Christ in her workplace.
Margaret earned a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Maryland and a M.S. in Journalism at New York University. She interned at the prestigious Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City and at the Pulitzer-prize winning Baltimore Sun newspaper.
Margaret attends Mt. Paran Central Church in Atlanta with her husband, Glynn.
